Wexler on Olbermann tonight

Well, Wexler was on fire, no doubt about it. He and Kuchinch could really bring Bush and Cheney to be held accountable, I have no doubt they've got the passion.

And, yes, Bush really did insult Phillipino Americans when he said that he know how talented they were every time he dined in the White House.

What an ass.

Update with the complete quote:
I want to tell you how proud I am to be the President of a nation that -- in which there's a lot of Philippine-Americans. They love America and they love their heritage. And I reminded the President that I am reminded of the great talent of the -- of our Philippine-Americans when I eat dinner at the White House.
George W. Bush, referring to White House chef Cristeta Comerford while meeting with Filipino President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, Washington, D.C., June 24, 2008

Hope all is good as it can be for you.

Peace.

Hey, Spadoman! How are you? We're getting Olbermann at 7 PM here in LA, which is perfect for me. Move west, young man!

I know how talented Crawfordians are when I see the local brush cut.

Go Wexler and Kucinich!

The preznitial idiot and his cultural insultancy rage on. My friend Padre Mickey did a good job with it in that link.

Ugh.

Randal, I know how talented Crawford Americans are when I see them being booted out the door.

Fran, thanks for the link to Padre Mickey - that is just hilarious, his version. Oh, what an ass.

I did not catch the latest Bush gaffe/insult.

I hope the chef adds laxatives to the Bush fare to help the Decider with his *severe* constipation problem.

Utterly disgraceful, Fran. If anyone missed it, the quote is at Our Babbling Bush

DivaJood, I hope you're feeling better.

Rambling Fran, even easier, I updated here. It is a wonder Arroyo didn't beat him upside the head with one of the fire pokers behind them.

Stella, I hope you are calling Bush's comment utterly disgraceful, not Rambling Fran for missing it! :)

I don't want to underplay the skill and ambition it took the WH chef to rise to the top of her profession, not at all. But yes, the way Bush stated it, it was as if the highest best achievement for any "ethnic" in america is to be able to cook for Bush.

Arroyo plastered a smile on her face as Bush was delivering what he obviously thought was a great compliment that said to me she will be speaking to the WH chef, maybe as she is hustling through the kitchen door before leaving the country.

It is just painful to see Bush trying to relate on ANY level to ANYONE other than his 1% Have-More Friends.

DK, really, being an executive chef is an art form - but my god, the condescension from this guy was unfuckingbelievable.

I'm exhausted by him.

Here we go, divajood. How does "ignorant, narcisissitic, sociopathic, prevaricating craphole" sound? Hmm, more adjectives, maybe?

Can someone get me a Tagolog translator with a Deadwood patois?

I've been firmly anti-Bush since he defeated the wonderful Ann Richards (we miss you) at governor of Texas. How the hell did THAT happen?

The family evil is legacy from the time Granpappy Herbert Walker Bush was selling weapons to the Nazis during WWII while the U.S. was engaged in war with Germany.

If I had a dollar for all the ignorant and/or bigoted things he's said, I'd be richer than that family.

Stella, thank you for clarifying for me. "ignorant, narcisissitic, sociopathic, prevaricating craphole" sort of sums Shrub up quite well. And if you had that dollar for all the crap that has come out of his mouth, I'm sure you'd share, right?
